Joyce, of Park Road, has donated more than £1.2 million in a fundraising career that has spanned over 25 years and is still going strong, with all profits going to benefit patients at Southend University Hospital.
The Bosom Pals Appeal aims to raise £750,000 for the latest in high-tech screening and diagnostic equipment for the hospital’s breast care unit.
Joyce said; “I am delighted that the sale was so well supported and that we have been able to raise a significant sum for the women of Essex. I would also like to say thank you to my family and friends for all their hard work, I couldn’t do it without them.”
