Southend University Hospital NHS Foundation Trust helps more than 350, 000 patients each year.  It is a busy district general hospital, providing a wide range of acute services and specialising in cancer care.

Contributions from the local community have a tremendously positive effect, helping to provide an even better service to patients.

The Department of Fundraising coordinates all fundraising for the hospital, working closely with Southend Hospital Charitable Foundation on large fundraising appeals and administering Southend Hospital Charity, which looks after the funds for wards and departments.

Southend Hospital is very fortunate to be surrounded by a generous and caring community.  We receive a variety of support from many local charities, groups and individuals who give extra time and efforts to raise money for the Hospital.  With their help we are able to provide additional services to our patients and their families.
